Londons Times Cartoons Becomes Eco-Friendly

April 28, 2008

Londons Times Cartoons, established in 1997 by Rick London, has gone green. London announced today that his Rick London Collection store at Zazzle is testing a number of images on organic cotton tshirts for both men and women, using only non-toxic dyes.

He adds, “Not all of our products are organic, at least not yet. I just know that there is a large market of people who want non-toxic products now, (not just food) including me, and I know there are many who are okay with regularly grown cotton who have been customers with us for a decade. So we are not going to drop the non-organic products as of now, nor do we have plans to.”

In just a decade, his cartoon empire has grown to over 8500 images and 11 e-stores featuring over 80,000 licensed image cartoon products. His main website lures almost 3 million visitors per year and is growing.
London’s collection also includes his cartoons on mouse pads, magnets, buttons, tote bags, caps, posters, framed prints, key chains, tank tops, greeting cards, real postage stamps and many other gifts and collectibles.

The store is at www.zazzle.com/beardiethor123 . London said it is temporarily under that name until he figures out what domain name he wants to use.
